How is the new year going so far 10 days in? Many good things here like these beautiful plants my mom gave me. With snow on the ground and no green in sight it is wonderful to have these blooming beauties!

I have been drinking a green smoothie every day for at least a month (maybe more). Love, love, love these! Spinach, celery, half a banana, a quarter of an apple, fresh squeezed lemon and lime juice, flax seed, half a cucumber, sometimes half an avocado if I am out of one of the other ingredients oh, and ginger. YUM! I dropped the afternoon coffee that I had grown way to accustomed to and now have herbal teas. Ahh…

I recently did a palette swap with the talented and so sweet Carrie Schmitt! This is just one of four. Isn’t it gorgeous? I have it on my inspiration wall along with the others.

She also tucked in her sweet painting! So pretty and don’t you just love the note card with print of her painting on it?

This little long tailed titmouse (close up above)is on the way to Pat in the UK! She won the giveaway I did last month. I think he is so cute. I am going to miss him but I know he is going to a good home.

This is two of three crochet blankets I am making to donate to the Snuggles Project using the box stitch which is super fun and quick.

And don’t laugh but this is the second knit swatch I am making. I recently signed up for the knit lab class on Craftsy. It may take me a year (or more) to make the projects but I am beginning to enjoy knitting. I’ll get there right? Plus, the pretty and great needles help.
