Summer seems like the time to slow down, relax, enjoy the longer amount of daylight. It is nice to get out of the daily routine. Eat your lunch outside. Walk barefoot everywhere.
With little ones the time for relaxing happens in short spurts. Reading together under a shady tree. Planting. Watering. Savoring a slice of watermelon together.
Summer also is a good time to play with watercolor. I really enjoy that they are spontaneous if you let them be. You don’t need a ton of time and is quick to set up and clean up. I hope to do some painting outside under a shady tree. And also to find the perfect tomato.
