ABOUT DANA

I have always created. It began with my crayons and coloring books but then led to further creative explorations.Painting, drawing, sculpture and jewelry making. Painting and drawing stole my heart.

Off to the Big Apple I went to study at the Fashion Institute of Technology earning a BFA in Textile/Surface Design.

There my love of color and pattern exploded. Designs were created with gouache on paper and then onto the computer. I went on to work as a designer and stylist in the home textiles industry.

My life took an even more joyous turn when we began our family and I devoted all of my time and energy to caring for our young family. I have since continued to create paintings and drawings with great a penchant. My love of color, pattern and nature is always present in my art. I work in gouache, acrylics, paper, and pencils.
